We produce locally to minimize our footprint. We work with the best developers to create formulations that find the perfect balance between efficient, minimal and sustainable.

2. Multi-Use by Design

One product, endless usages. Our multi-functional balms replace multiple items, reducing waste and clutter in your routine. Less products, less waste, healthier skin.

3. Proven, Effective Ingredients

We choose ingredients based on efficacy and safety not trends. If it’s the best option for skin and sustainability, we use it. No compromises. We never use animal derived ingredients, animal testing, microplastic and uncertified palm-oil.

4. Water-Free Formulas

Water is a precious resource, not an ingredient. By creating waterless formulas, we conserve this resource while delivering concentrated products that last longer and require less per use.

5. Zero Waste, High Value

We repurpose byproducts to ensure nothing goes to waste. Our traceable shea butter supports healthy economies and prevents deforestation, while giving you the purest care possible.

6. Zero Compromise Packaging

No microplastics. Our packaging is recycled, recyclable, or biodegradable, designed for reuse and durability.

  • Sulapac ™ jars: Made from lightwieght premium wood and fully biodegradable. Our next goal is refillable options for our jars. Until then, we encourage reuse. Sulapac was founded to save the world from plastic waste, and their materials are engineered to reduce CO₂ emissions and eliminate microplastics, all while being safe for people and the environment.   • Refillable sticks: Reduce waste with easy refills.
  • PCR plastic: Post-consumer recycled plastic. We choose it to give plastic a second life, reducing waste without compromising durability or safety.
  • FSC-certified paper: Paper sourced from responsibly managed forests. We choose it to ensure our materials protect forests, wildlife, and the communities that depend on them.

7. Skin Health Over Hype

We advocate for using nothing when skin is healthy and My Kinda only when needed. No natural ingredients that strain Earth’s resources. If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.

Our shea butter is sourced through the Kolo Nafaso program, the world’s first FairWild-certified shea supply chain. This is how we ensure our ingredients are as pure as our intentions:
